We are proud to offer multiple grant opportunities for our local non-profits.

Small Grants

Each year, we offer small grants to area nonprofits that address our main focus areas: Arts & Culture, Education and Community Care

Application Opens: October 1st

Application Closes: November 1st

Amount: $12,000 (one award)

2023 Focus Area: Capacity Building: To support existing local organizations that foster long-term, upward mobility for low-income, at-risk individuals and families.

LoLA Grant

The LoLA (Legacy of Living Art) Fund supports projects that use the arts to nurture and support healing. LoLA grants are awarded yearly to artists and organizations that seek to engage creativity for the benefits of wellness and wellbeing. Proposed projects should have outcomes that provide opportunities for things such as creative expression, respite, social interaction, and enhancement of the human spirit.

Application Opens: July 1st

Application Closes: October 15th

Amount: 25% of the Fund

Women's Giving Circle Grant

As a program of the Missoula Community Foundation, the WGC offers grants. The grant focus for each year is chosen by the Circle membership.  This allows the membership to stay current with community needs and respond to emergent situations.

Application Opens: September 1st

Application Closes: October 10th

Amount:  $10,000 

2 Runner Up:  $1,000 each
