Scholarships
Our scholarships support regional students pursuing education beyond high school. The generous support of community donors provides essential funds to support students in their goals and gives them a sense of belonging
General Scholarship
Applications Period: November 24, 2022 – March 24, 2023
Amount: $1,000
Who can apply?
If you are a student from a Missoula-area high school and are:

- Planning to attend university, college, or trade school in Montana, OR
- A Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) school
Five (5) scholarships of $1,000 are available for students from the following high schools (one scholarship per school):

- Big Sky
- Frenchtown
- Hellgate
- Seeley-Swan
- Sentinel
- Willard Alternative School*
*Willard students will be awarded through their main school of attendance (i.e. Big Sky)
Diversity Scholarship
Applications Period: November 24, 2022 – March 24, 2023
Amount: $1,000
Who can apply?
If you are a student from a Missoula-area* high school and:

- Self identify with an underrepresented ethnic group
- Are planning to attend university, college, or trade school in Montana, OR
- A Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) school
One** scholarship of $1,000 is available to a minority student.
*Missoula-area high schools:

- Big Sky
- Frenchtown
- Hellgate
- Seeley-Swan
- Sentinel
- Willard Alternative School***
**If you are not chosen for the Diversity Scholarship, you will still be eligible for the General Scholarship which is based on your high school.

Lorilee Evans-Lynn Memorial Scholarship
Applications Period: November 25, 2022-March 24, 2023
Amount: $1,500
Requirements:
-
- Planning to be enrolled as a full-time student in any college or university located in the United States.
- Graduating from Big Sky High School.
- Majoring in literary arts (eg creative writing, poetry), performing arts (eg dance, music, theater) or visual arts (eg film, painting, ceramics, sculpture, photography).
- Preference will be given to Aerie students.
