Give

Community foundations offer a great way for donors to make charitable gifts while retaining the highest possible amount of flexibility and effectiveness. They serve the financial needs of both donors and the charities they choose as partners. The Missoula Community Foundation functions as a philanthropic resource for the greater Missoula valley by providing flexibility, professional administrative support, investment management, and program evaluation services.

Giving to—or through—the Missoula Community Foundation is easy. Donations can be made in any amount and can be designated for particular Community Foundation programs or for unrestricted funds. We work closely with you to develop a program of giving that meets YOUR needs and interests.

How we work

The Missoula Community Foundation fosters local collaboration to address persistent civic and economic challenges. We do this by strengthening nonprofits, incubating innovative programs, and supporting young leaders. We also work with families and individuals to ensure they receive the most benefit from their charitable contributions and that their philanthropic dollars are used to the fullest extent.

Why our work matters

A gift to the Missoula Community Foundation is an investment in the future of your community. The funds will go to work immediately by supporting vital services, but they will also provide sustained support for years to come by building your community savings account, The Missoula Forever Fund.

Who supports us

People who care about protecting and preserving the heart of Missoula are our patrons. That includes community members, foundations, and local businesses.

How we can help you

We provide free philanthropic resources and advice for those wishing to leave a legacy or make a donation to the Missoula community. We also support nonprofits and fledgling community programs. Let us know what you need and we’ll do our best to help!
