The Women’s Giving Circle of Missoula County (WGC) is pleased to invite non-profit organizations addressing homelessness and housing in our community to apply for their 2024 grant. The application is now open and submissions will be accepted through August.
The WGC is delighted to offer a $15,000 grant award this year, a significant increase from the $10,000 grants it has awarded for the past six years. Applicants should clearly demonstrate how their programs, services, mission, etc. impact homelessness and housing in Missoula County and embody the Circle’s core values of community, equity, and opportunity.
Three finalists will be chosen from the initial pool of applicants, and these organizations will each make a presentation to the Circle membership, which will then vote to select the grant winner. Finalists that do not receive the $15,000 grant will each be gifted $1,000 in unrestricted funds for their work.
The WGC is a program of the Missoula Community Foundation and has granted $64,000 to local non-profits since its inception in 2018. The Circle includes nearly 100 women and non-binary philanthropists of all ages and backgrounds who pool their resources to contribute to positive change and amplify their impact.
An educational panel to explore the grant focus is part of each WGC grant cycle. The panel on homelessness and housing will be held on August 21st at the Missoula Public Library’s Imaginarium from 5:30 to 7:00 pm. This event is free and open to the public, but an RSVP is requested.
Applications will be accepted from July 15 through August 30 and can be submitted here.
